A new report says that the Apple iPhone SE 3 will have an old design but its specifications will be better than before. The new special edition iPhone will have the Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is currently present in the iPhone 13.
Apple also makes a low-cost special edition phone in addition to its mainstream iPhone lineup. According to previous reports, the company’s third special edition device — the Apple iPhone SE 3 — is set to launch in 2022. Now new news is giving information about the processor and design of this device.
Apple iPhone SE (2022) will have the old design
According to Japan’s Macotakara website, the internal parts of the Apple iPhone SE (2022) will be different, but the new design will not be seen in it. The report says that this phone will look similar to the current iPhone SE (2020) model. This means, the specifications of the device will be better than before, but there will be no change in its body.
New special edition iPhone will have the latest features
According to the publication’s report, the new Apple iPhone SE 3 will have Apple’s new Bionic A15 processor. This processor is also present in Apple’s latest iPhone 13 series. The new special edition iPhone will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem with the new processor, which will provide 5G connectivity to the device.
Due to its outdated design, the iPhone SE 3 may have seen the old 4.7-inch LCD screen and at the same time, the battery capacity also did not change. There may be some improvement in battery backup due to the new chipset. This phone will have thick bezels at the top and bottom and the Touch ID sensor can be seen in a home button below. The phone can also have an aluminum body.
Earlier in June, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the new iPhone SE 3 will see better specifications and 5G connectivity along with the old design.
Macotakara believes that the production of the iPhone SE 3 will start in December 2021 and the company will start shipping it next year, ie 2022.
