Material You themes come to the Galaxy S21
The update of the second beta of Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 will begin to reach the terminals in the next few hours. Once available, it will be downloaded and installed automatically on devices that are part of the program. Those users who want to join the program only need to access Samsung Members and register for the program. For now, yes, it is only available in some countries, among which Spain is not.
The automatic topics of One UI 4 operate in the same way as they do on Google Pixel: establishing a wallpaper, the system will be able to create a theme for the interface using the primary and secondary colors of the background image. One UI will also allow you to choose between several different themes based on the wallpaper.
The accent colors of the theme will modify the appearance of some of the system applications, and of elements such as the clock on the lock screen or the icons on the notification panel and quick settings.
Samsung is the first company beyond Google to adopt Automatic Material You themes. Others, such as OnePlus, OPPO, or Xiaomi have not introduced this function in their respective betas based on Android 12. It remains to be seen if other companies follow the same steps as Samsung over the next few weeks.
