Redmi 10 Prime smartphone will come with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. This information has been given by Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President, Xiaomi India. This chipset has been unveiled in the Redmi 10 launched in August itself. With the confirmation of the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, there are strong indications that the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone will be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi 10.

This phone will come with a punch-hole camera display and a quad rear camera setup. It can get up to 6GB of RAM, which will come with up to 128GB of storage. Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed the MediaTek Helio G88 processor by tweeting an image. According to the company official, this phone will be the best upgrade of Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi 9 Power.
Earlier the launch date of Redmi 10 Prime has been revealed. This phone will be launched in India on 3rd September. If reports are to be believed, this smartphone will be a rebranded version of Redmi 10 launched in the global market. Earlier, Xiaomi had teased features like punch-hole display, adaptive refresh rate, and dual microphones in the smartphone. The phone has also been spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG).
Redmi 10 Prime Specifications (Expected)
If this smartphone is a rebranded version of Redmi 10, then it will get the same specifications as the global variant. The Redmi 10 Prime is expected to sport a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AdaptiveSync display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A quad rear camera setup can be given in this, whose main lens will be 50MP. Apart from this, an 8MP selfie camera can be found on the phone.
A 5000mAh battery can be given to power the handset, which will come with 18W fast charging support. It will get 9W wired reverse charging feature. Along with Redmi 10 Prime, Xiaomi can launch TWS earbuds on September 3. These earbuds could be the Redmi AirDots 3 launched in China earlier this year.
