Xiaomi’s flagship killer is already receiving MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition

Xiaomi has started updating to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced one of its cheapest high-end this year. The update to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is now available for the POCO F3. The company has started the rollout of the new version in Europe, and in the last hours, it is reaching all POCO F3s sold in Europe.

The package distributed via OTA has a weight of 466 MB, and it comes with firmware (RKHEUXM). Along with it, all the news of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced announced by Xiaomi a few weeks ago are introduced, and the ground is paved for the arrival of MIUI 13, the next big update to Xiaomi’s operating system based on Android.

MIUI 12.5 arrives at POCO F3 with performance and security improvements

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced reaches Xiaomi mobiles to fix errors, improve performance and reduce energy consumption. It hardly introduces any functional or interface changes, since the bulk of the improvements are aimed at fine-tuning the user experience, and not including new features.

The security patch included with this update is August 2021. Taking into account that the October update was released by Google several weeks ago, it seems clear that, for Xiaomi, it is not a priority to keep the security patch of its devices updated to the latest version.

The POCO F3s are already being updated to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in Europe, and little by little there are fewer and fewer devices that are missing to receive the latest version of the brand’s software.
